1. Soo Line Trail, Minnesota
Soo Line Trail is a sought-after destination for off-roading in the Midwest, with over 200 miles of trails. The southern route is a trail that stretches 105 miles from Eastern Minnesota to Wisconsin.
2. Black Hills, South Dakota
Black Hills National Forest crisscrosses with thousands of miles of trails. Some trails spread into Wyoming, North Dakota, and Montana. Popular spots are Deadwood and Hill City. Although, Deerfield Lake is less crowded and serene. Rushmore Shadows Resort in Rapid City is a great place, also.
3. Black River Falls, Wisconsin
This trail has more than 100 miles in Jackson County and 135 miles in Clark County. Black River Falls is one of the most scenic forest trails there is. Trails go through rolling landscapes and streams. This trail is a unique area in the upper Midwest.
4. Brighten National Forest, Wyoming
This trail is near Sheridan, Wyoming, which is a great town to visit. Brighten National Forest is an underrated ATV area. The scenery is unlike any other. Trails range from easy riding to extremely difficult terrain. This area is also good for hunting, fishing, and camping. The park is strict on where you can ride so make sure you know where these areas are.
5. Mine Made Paradise, Kentucky
This trail is outside of Hazard, Kentucky. It has 43,000 acres of cultivated coal mining land in the heart of Appalachian Mountains. This trail is open year-round. There are more than 100 miles of looped trails curving through thick coverings of large pine trees.
6. Bundy Hill- Jerome, Michigan
The largest ATV adventure park in southern Michigan. There are over 350 acres of exciting off-road trails, steep hills, sand drag, and an ATV teeter-totter. The park recently added twenty new trails. The park also offers paintball, volleyball, and camping.
7. Paiute ATV Trail, Utah
Calling South-Central Utah, a part of the Midwest is a stretch. However, this trail is worth mentioning. More ATV jamborees happen here than any other area. The trail is a 275-mile-long journey through awesome rock formations and wild landscapes. Some trails have elevations of more than 10,000 feet.
