Red Top Trail, Isle, MN. This centrally located trail is 25 miles of just about any kind of terrain you would like. For the rider seeking rugged terrain, take the Adventure Trail Loop for an extra steep and rocky ride. Beginners can stay on the main trail while those seeking that extra thrill can take the loops for a bit more rugged ride.

 

Mesabi Mountain Trail, Eveleth, MN. At only four miles, this trail is short on length but long on rugged! If you like climbing with your ATV, this is your place. The trail strongly recommends at least 35” tires with lockers and winches. With multiple ways around some of the more difficult obstacles, even if you only have moderate skills, you can still find your way through.

 

Hill City Trail, Hill City, MN. This steep trail with rugged climbs and turns takes you through the Quadna Mountain hardwood forest. A picturesque overlook along Willow River promises great photo opportunities for memories of your ride.

 

Spider Lake Trails, Spider McKinley Forest Road, MN. This trail boasts 29 miles of varied terrain with large hills and slopes to conquer with your ATV. Enjoy views of several lakes and ponds on your ride with this trail with year round operation.

 

Iron Range Off-Highway Vehicle State Recreation Area, Gilbert, MN. This site has over 1,200 acres of all types of trails for any experience level. Choose the more rugged trails for that special ATV adventure. The area features special areas devoted to ATV climbing and has obstacle and challenge courses for all skill levels.
